In vertical wells, non-dissolvable balls or “sinkers” can get stuck in the perforations. Also, the perforations might need to be reopened by using a scraper run. As a result, non-dissolvable “floaters” require the balls to be caught at the surface. The lighter the ball the more ball action you get. In Addition, ZeroIn ball sealers give you the best sealing efficiency in horizontal wells. While mixing different specific gravity balls together, more open perforations can seal near the pipe.
